If you are stopping every 50 miles or so for a
break, you aren't ready for a larger bike. Your
body will let you know when/if you are ready to
upgrade. By the by, the 800 Kawasaki is a dog.
If you want a twin, get a 1400 Intruder, fastest
v-twin cruiser out of the box. Be forewarned, it is
butt ugly and uncomfortable for a lot of riders.
If it is just the look of the 800 you are after,
buy an HD rear fender, a Rifle windshield company
sport fairing, a Marauder gel seat, better bars,
and run the snot out the baby bike. Better fuel
economy than any twin I've ever ridden (which is
in the neighborhood of 35 or so bikes, v-twins,
vertical twins, BMW boxer twins, 1920 HD opposed twin
fore-and-aft, Moto Guzzis and the Honda copy of
them).
Ride what you want. Just enjoy it.
